Its Suva again

The Safety Electrical sponsored Suva women’s side edged out Labasa 1-0 in an epic final which was decided in extra time.
National rep Stella Nivalurua scored in the seventh minute of the first extra time spell which proved to be the match winner.
The clash was a repeat of last year’s final which Suva had also won by a similar margin. Labasa was determined to topple their rivals this time around but experience was the key the way for Suva.
Earlier in the semifinals Suva thumped Nadroga 5-0 while Labasa put host Ba out of contention with a 3-1 victory.
Suva and Ba remain the only districts to have won the women’s IDC but sides like Nadroga, Labasa, Nadi and Rewa are edging closer.
