He made these comments during the Rewa football association 2010 Courts Inter District Championship (IDC) winning celebrations earlier today at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
Kumar elaborated on Rewa’s success this season which he believes was achieved through a good combined players and official’s effort.
“Rewa has proved this season that through team work by players, team management and executives they have been able to win two tournaments.
“On behalf of Fiji FA and President Dr. Muhammed Shams-UD-Dean Sahu Khan we would like to congratulate them. It was a good achievement for Rewa winning both the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants (BOG) and Courts IDC.
“When we were here for the BOG celebration the Rewa President Pranil Singh told the gathering that they will make efforts to bring another celebration to Nausori and that they have been able to fulfill through the support from players and team officials.
“This indicates that through team work and everyone’s contribution there will be success,” Kumar said.
Meanwhile Rewa fans turned out in huge numbers to show their appreciation. Rewa players were rewarded for their hard work and effort put in this season. Rewa beat Lautoka 3-1 to win the 2010 Courts IDC tournament at TFL National Stadium in Suva earlier this month.
The side beat Navua 1-0 to win the 2010 Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournamnet at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
