Chand who is also the grounds committee chairman for the opening round says Subrail Park has been upgraded to accommodate the needs of the participating teams and patrons.
“Subrail Park is ready to host the first round of the Inkk Mobile BOG this Sunday. We have experienced good weather throughout the week and work on the ground should be completed soon,” he said.
“On top of that the referees and players change rooms have been upgraded to accommodate their respective needs. There will be adequate security at the venue and we are pleased to know that bus companies have agreed to extend their services. Overall we hope for a successful day.”
The Fiji FA vice president said tickets for the first round go on sale from today.
“Tickets go on sale from this Wednesday at the Labasa Town council and Hotel Takia. I lot of calls have come by fans enquiring about the tickets and thus we decided that presale would be the best move. There is huge interest in the Inkk Mobile BOG and I would like to urge the fans to get their tickets on time to avoid any disappointments,” Chand said.
Nadi and Suva play the opening match this Sunday at 9am. Ba takes on Nadroga at 11am before Lautoka-Navua clash around 1pm. The feature match of the day sees defending champion Rewa against host Labasa.
