It was all smiles for the association as major sponsor Tuckers Fiji have once again lend a helping hand in a bid to assist in the development of secondary schools level football.
“This is the 10th straight year of sponsorship towards the Fiji secondary schools soccer championship from Tuckers Fiji,” said Salendra Prasad the Fiji Secondary schools soccer association (FSSSA) vice president.
He said they were pleased with the support.
“We would like to thank our major sponsors Tuckers Fiji, the Fiji Football Association, Puncture Proof Ltd, Ministry of Education and the various supporters of Secondary schools soccer,” he said.
The annual FSSA championship will be held at Govind Park in Ba from August 16-19th, 2012.
Fiji FA assists
Fiji Football Association handed over a $6000 cheque and match balls for the upcoming Tuckers Fiji Secondary Schools soccer championship.
Bob Kumar, the Fiji Football Association chief executive officer said schools level football was an ideal pathway for the development of football in the country.
He hopes Fiji FA’s assistance will assist in the events success.
The annual FSSA championship will be held at Govind Park in Ba from August 16-19th, 2012.
Fiji Football Association vice president/national team director Taranesh Reddy handed over the cheque and match balls to FSSSA officials during the pool draws.
