Whats New?

Fiji Football Association referees chairman Dewan Chand said this is a new initiative aimed at improving refereeing standards.
“Two assessors will asses each match and then they will have to submit their reports. We will then go over the reports and see how both assessors rated the officials in the match.
This is a move which will help us better the standards,” Chand said.
The Fiji FA referees chairman said a strong referees panel has been named for the 2012 Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament.
“A very strong panel has been selected. These referees have been covering the hard yards and they have got their rewards. This is not the end of the road as referee will be assessed during the Fiji FACT and graded.”
