Jitendra Kumar, the Nadi Football Association president said Kumar has stepped in to assist in the absence of Kamal Suwamy who is occupied with the national Olympics side.
“Kamal will join us once he has completed his commitments with the Olympics team which is preparing for the playoffs. Ravinesh has stepped in to assist during his absence,” Kumar said.
Nadi came from behind to settle for a 1-1 draw against Rewa during their opening clash in the 2012 Fiji Sun GP Batteries National Football League last Saturday at Prince Charles Park.
Lorima Dau put Rewa in the lead early in the match. Backed by their fans that turned out in numbers, Nadi fought back and it was lethal striker Uraia Loki who leveled the scores.
Kumar said the focus would now be on their next match against Lautoka.
“One point is a good enough result. We were missing some of our players who are committed with the Olympics squad but overall the players did well.”
