Fiji FA has joined hands with mobile giants Vodafone in a partnership to provide exclusive and first hand information on the latest news on soccer in the country through the mobile.
Vodafone and Inkk Users can subscribe by texting “sub football” to “777” to receive the daily updates which will cost 20 cents/day. Rajesh Patel, the Fiji FA President said this was the first time for the national body to engage in this initiative.
“This is the first time that we have setup our own platform with Vodafone and it will be a positive step for the Fiji FA administration as a means of keeping our fans up to date,” Patel said.
“Interested fans can subscribe through the code and be the first to get exclusive updates and news straight to their mobile phones. At the end of the day it will be a win, win situation for both the fans and Fiji FA with additional revenue to spend on football development. “
Patel said that various other promotions with Vodafone were lined up in the coming months.
