The delegation includes beach soccer referees Faraz Hussein, Rajnish Dave and Technical Director Saiyad Ali who will be attending the coaches’ course.
Fiji FA Chief Executive officer Bob Kumar says the elite courses of this nature will assist to up skill the local referees and coaches.
“Courses of this nature are definitely a positive development process for our referees and coaches. The idea is to up skill the individuals involved and later they will bring back the knowledge and share it to the other coaches and referees,” Kumar said.
Referee Faraz Hussein who is part of the delegation believes this elite course will help him get better.
“I’m looking forward to the elite beach soccer course. I believe this is an opportunity to gain more knowledge and get better. The OFC Beach Soccer championship will be held early next year and hopefully I will get an opportunity to officiate,” Hussein said,
The 2010 OFC Beach Soccer championships will be held from 22-26 February 2011 in Tahiti.
