This comes as they went down 1-0 to Lautoka last night during their opening 2011 Courts IDC clash at TFL National Stadium.
Both sides were equal on strength and numerous attempts to find the back of the net but it was star striker Valerio Nawatu who struck just before the break to give his Lautoka side the advantage.
Suva President Mahen Prasad, said his side failed to utlise their opportunities.
“We had a lot of opportunities to score but the boys could not find the target. Suva let in a goal which proved costly for us but we must now regroup to get a better result against Nadroga,” Prasad said.
Navua remained the only side on day one of the Courts IDC to claim a victory. The Southern-based side beat Supreme Fuel Tavua 2-0 in the opening match of the tournament.
Defending champion Rewa made a slow start to their campaign as they were held 0-0 by a determined Nadi outfit.
The feature match of day one saw giants Ba and Labasa settle for a 2-2 draw. Ba led 2-0 five minutes from full time but Labasa scored twice in injury time to secure a crucial one point.
