Defending champion Suva now need a good outing on day two of the competition as they lost to Rewa 0-1 in their opening game and later drew with Nadroga 1-1 on the first day of the Bargain Box sponsored event.
Suva’s pool opponents Rewa and Labasa started on a high note as they both won their two respective matches.
In pool one home side Ba claimed two huge victories as they beat Navua 4-0 and later thrashed Lami 8-0.
The last two rounds of matches will be played tomorrow before the four semifinalists for Sunday are known.
