National team director Tarunesh Reddy said the team is rounding up the preparation and getting ready for the tournament.
“The team is currently involved in doing their final preparation for the playoff and the players have shown a lot of dedication towards the training,” Reddy said.
Reddy explained that the playoffs will not be a walk in the park.
“We will be going in the OFC playoff with only one aim which is to qualify for the World cup as are four matches away from representing the country at the world stage so we will be going there with a aim like any other team.” Reddy said.
Reddy is urging all the football lovers in the country to back the boys during the playoff since they will be representing the people of Fiji and the country at large and fans presence will boost the morale amongst the players.
The playoff starts on 21st of this month and will be played at Churchill Park while the final round will be played in Ba on 29th.
