Rajesh Patel, the Fiji FA President said Tailevu Naitasiri and Nadroga football associations showed true sportsmanship in accepting the decision of a replay.
The first match will be played 7.30pm this Thursday at Lawaqa Park while the second will be hosted by Tailevu Naitasiri this Sunday 1pm at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
“In the true spirit of football both respective districts have agreed to replay the promotion/relegation series. Taking into account the case was vast with a super premier division spot at stake and in good spirit both districts agreed for a replay,” Patel said.
The Fiji FA Board of Control met in Nadi yesterday. Nadroga earlier had won the Fiji FA Promotion/Relegation series but Tailevu Naitasiri filed a protest against Nadroga for fielding ineligible players in their two match series.
Other decsions made at the board of control meeting sees the Fiji FACT move from Labasa and Lautoka being the alternative venue for the first of the three major tournaments.
