Savusavu had nothing much to offer on attack with Rewa goalie and skipper Simione Tamanisau hardly being tested in the match.
Short on attack the Northern based side maintained their defence line which denied Rewa on numerous occasions.
Emori Rakaboa, the Savusavu goalie was a standout as the Rewa strike force failed to go past him.
Lethal striker Ratu Veresa Toma limped off early in the first spell as former Lautoka rep Issa and former Navua rep Dau added strength to the Rewa outfit.

The new half did not bring much excitement for the fans as the trend of Rewa attacking and Savusavu defending continued.
Niumaia Tagi made way for young fourteen year old Iosefo Verevou two minutes into the second half. Few more changes, as at that stage it seemed that the match was headed towards a tie.
But eight minutes from the final whistle Verevou struck from a wide cross towards the left hand side of goal. Verevou was part of the national under 17 side at the Oceania playoffs and is the brother of Epeli Saukuru who is also part of the Rewa side.
In the other Fiji Sun/Weet-Bix National Football League match played on Sunday, Uraia Loki scored his sides lone as Royal Tea Nadi picked up a crucial 1-0 victory over Skippy Western Under 23 at Prince Charles Park.
Energizer Nalawa claimed their second victory in a row as they edged Weet-Bix Vatukoula 1-0.
