A little over 2000 fans turned up on the day. In attendance were Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel, senior vice president/national league board chairman Shiek Ibrahim, competitions manager Jainendra Sukhu, honorary member Mohammed Sattar, vice presidents Tarunesh Reddy and Jiten Kumar who is also the Nadi FA president.
CJ Patel group was represented by marketing director Nathan Hildebrand and Fiji Sun publisher/CEO Peter Lomas. Aisea Tuidraki, the Nadi Town Council special administrator was also present.
A colourful opening was followed by a top class action packed clash between homeside Nadi against Rewa.
