Kishore replaces Segran

The Namau Public School head teacher takes over from Chandra Segran who resigned from his post as he is migrating to Australia.
Kishore takes up the role next month. He is no stranger to the job as he has been a Fiji FA referee in his career and later became a referees instructor/ assessor.
“I would like to thank the Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel and the board of control members who have confidence in me to take over. Chandra Segran’s contribution cannot go unnoticed and the task now is to continue from where he left off,” Kishore said.
“I would also like to thank the family who have supported me throughout.”
Few weeks left before he officially takes over, Kishore has already set his sights on his plans.
“My immediate task is to continue the referee’s development programme. More young referees need to recruit and the present ones need to be up-skilled more in order for them to be at the elite standard. With this we will have a balance of referees for the present and the future.”
Kishore will resign from the post of head teacher from Namau Public School early next month.
He will be based full time at the National Football Academy in Ba.
