Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf says, the 2020 Courts Inter-district Championship was a major success.
“This year’s 82nd edition of the Courts IDC was successful despite the weather before the start of the tournament,” he said.
“I think it was quite a successful tournament and spectators came in numbers to support their teams.
“I think the standard was good as players came in fully prepared to play in the tournament and that what made the pool plays more competitive till the final pool matches,’said Yusuf
“I would like to congratulate SSS Building (NZ) Labasa team for winning the back to back Courts IDC title and Moshin’s Insulation Nadroga side for winning the senior division title.”
“Also congratulation to Fresh Choice Lautoka and Bua teams for giving their best in their respective finals,”
Yusuf also thanked the participating teams for giving their best during the tournament but unfortunately in the end there is always one winner.
“I would also like to thank our sponsors Courts for their continuous sponsorship without them we would have not been able to be successful in staging the tournament this year.”
