The group stage of the 2025 BiC Fiji FACT has wrapped up with thrilling action, surprises, and heartbreaks as four teams advanced to the semi-finals.
Paradise Seafood Supplies Lautoka FC topped Group A in style, staying unbeaten with two wins and a draw. The Blues edged out Ajay Trading Rewa FC 1-0 in their final match to finish on 7 points and seal their spot in the semis.
Rewa FC managed to secure second place after a tight group battle — drawing against Navua, losing to Lautoka, and relying on Ba’s 1-0 victory over Navua to sneak through. A draw or win for Navua against Ba could have sent the Southerners through instead, but the Men-in-Black played with pride and sent Navua crashing out.
Stratum Construction Suva FC dominated Group B with swagger, scoring 9 goals and conceding just 2 — the best goal difference in the tournament. They crushed Nadi 5-0 on Day 3 to secure top spot with 7 points.
Despite suffering their first defeat of the season, Extra Supermarket Labasa FC edged into the second semi-final spot on goal difference over PartsLink Automotive/Manasa Export Nadroga FC. Nadroga’s 2-1 win over Labasa on the final day wasn’t enough to overturn the deficit.
