10 teams battle at Ba futsal

Ten teams kicked off the first ever Ba Futsal Association local league competition last weekend at Govind Park Futsal Court in Ba

Competition coordinator Jyeshnal Prasad says all teams came prepared for the opener.

“We had a successful first round of the competition and I thank all the teams for their participation.” said Prasad

Prasad says no Ba district reps will be playing in the competition.

“All ten teams participating are without district rep because we want to give opportunities to the players who cannot showcase their talent at district level,”

“I would say we had exciting and thrilling matches in the first round of competition,”

Prasad said after watching the first round of competition CDL and VR Builders Clopcott FC looks favorite in the competition.

“This after CDL thrashed Young Brothers FC 12-3 and VR Builders Clopcott FC won 3-0 against Dayals Sawmill Jolly Brothers FC.
