League break next week


The Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League will take a break after this weekend round of matches.


Tavua against Suva.

Jainendra Sukhu, the Fiji Football Association competitions manager said teams will be given a break to prepare for the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants (BOG) which kicks off on July 22, 2012.

“The Inkk Mobile BOG is just two weeks away and we thought it would be fitting to give the teams some time to prepare. The league will then resume after the BOG,” Sukhu said.

The 4R Electrical Ba side will travel to Vanua Levu this weekend to face Labasa and Savusavu.

Placed third on the standings Ba is currently with 22 points and will be looking to return with six competition points.

Nadi remained on top last weekend following their 2-0 victory over Lautoka at Prince Charles Park.
