Naicker was the recipient of the FIFA Order of Merit at the FIFA congress in Hungary earlier this year.

Mahendra Singh, the FFRA president believes Naickers achievement was a perfect inspiration for our referees.

“It was a proud moment for FFRA of seeing one of own being honoured with a FIFA order of merit,” Singh said.

“Naicker thanked the FFRA and fellow colleague Gopalan Khanna for the support and assistance during his term as Referee and Secretary of Fiji Football Referees Association.

Naicker also reminded the members of their responsibilities and urged everyone to work together to ensure further development of the game in Fiji.”

Naicker who has been recently assisting in running referees development courses around the country also presented FFRA president Mahendra Singh with a FIFA memento that he received in Hungary.
